"No." He held the onion over his head, frowning. "What's that look for? Come on, I said I'd help; you're just. Being weird." He shook his head. "I don't like it when you won't look me in the eye--that's... I do that when I'm lying to people."

He didn't like to admit it, but he knew it was the truth. Lea was a top-notch liar, but when he was being dishonest with someone that mattered he could never maintain eye contact. It wasn't all the time, obviously--sometimes maintaining eye contact was just awkward, but something about the averted gaze and the stiffness in Riku's shoulders had him concerned.
