"A lot of people need sled dogs," he offered, glancing forwards to the stairs and then sideways at Lea, raising an eyebrow sharply in disbelief.
"You, get a job? Wouldn't that interfere with your napping?" Shoes off, he looked down tot he warm fur rug, closing his eyes and curling his toes. It felt sort of like home, but... it actually had a homey feeling. Funny, that. His frown twitched into a crooked smile, moving towards the kitchen and looking around. Of course the fridge wasn't stocked--there was little in the cupboards and cabinets except a few spare pots and pans.
At least they could make stew. That was probably all he was going to be doing.
