"I'm not lazing," he replied tersely without looking up. "I'll have you know I am in a fierce battle to defend a flock of birds from being forced out of their homes by evil green pigs from space. Or something." He assumed they were space pigs, as he'd never seen a green pig on any of his travels. Though he did idly recall hearing of a book about green ham once.
After taking out the last alien pig, Axel set the tablet aside between levels and sat up.
"You're home early," he noted, tilting his head curiously. When he got a look at Riku, though, his brow crinkled together as he informed him bluntly, "Wow, you look like hell. Did something happen?"
